10 Hardworking and Dreamy Celebs We're Celebrating for Virgo Season

Andrea Marks Joseph READ TIME: 11 MIN.

Virgos are logical, practical, and focused on achieving their goals. This mindset affects their approach to friendships, career plans, and love life. The earth sign is often seen as a perfectionist, which can be frustrating, but it also means that they are naturally inclined to work diligently.

Virgos are hardworking, big dreaming, high-achieving people who demand nothing less than perfection from both themselves and those around them. Virgos work really well in a team, always contributing excellent work, and raising the bar in their industry. They also really value their private lives, and must learn to master the art of balancing activities that energize them.

The rewards of a Virgo's consistency and commitment are immense: Yasmin Finney's radiant role on Netflix's queer teen sensation "Heartstopper" has had a global impact in representation and support for trans teenagers; Bobby Berk is widely seen as the hardest working of the "Queer Eye" Fab Five for the dramatic, impressive home makeovers he pulls off in a seemingly impossible amount of time. "Riverdale" actress Lili Reinhart is a shining example of a Virgo's "very mindful, very demure" attitude to being a celebrity, and G Flip's passionate love for music and romance with Chrishell Stause has brought us great songs and a great representation of queer love. On top of that Keke Palmer is a proud Virgo in all that she does, handling business discreetly and looking spectacular at all times!

Let's discuss all these queer Virgo celebs – and many more of our faves – below!

Bobby Berk

Virgos have an eye for detail, making sure that every aspect of their work, big or small, meets their very high standards. They can be difficult to work with, but when people like Beyoncé represent what's possible when you lean into that Virgo energy, it may be worth the hassle.

"Queer Eye" star Bobby Berk is a wonderful reminder that above all else, Virgos work this hard because they want to do their best and help as much as possible. Virgos are problem solvers, able to step back and see every detail along the solution-driven journey and map their way to success. Berk's breathtaking, often tearfully adored home makeovers on "Queer Eye" have made him a fan favorite and a legend for the incredible (sometimes unrecognizable!) difference in the projects he undertakes during the singular week the Fab Five are in town visiting each local hero. Allure tells us that "Virgos want to assist on a practical level. These earth signs are always striving to provide workable solutions and improve broken systems." Bobby Berk is all that and more – not only providing workable solutions and improving broken systems, but doing so with kindness, gorgeous design, and the gift of truly welcoming, livable spaces.

Megan Stalter

Queer comedian Megan Stalter, best known for her role as Kayla on "Hacks" and as the star of the viral "Hi, Gay" corporate Pride month parody videos, is a Virgo star on the rise. Because she has tweeted about it, we can confirm that Stalter identifies with the "overthinking" qualities typical of a Virgo. Despite her rise in recognition from recent on-screen performances, Stalter told People Magazine that she "will never want to stop live performing because there's nothing that compares to that high and the connection you have with the audience... I really feel like I'm meant to be live performing, in a way that's unearthly. It feels like heaven." Though they're excellent at organization and planning ahead, Virgos are also naturally intelligent, witty, and quick – the perfect traits for a stand-up comedian.

Kim Petras

The "Unholy" singer is such a Virgo that she even played stellar member of the zodiac love council "Virgo" in the creative project that was JLo's meta musical-memoir film "This Is Me... Now." Virgos are very critical of themselves, and they like to look good, which can make things complicated. They work hard to curate a look and a lifestyle that aligns with their vision for the future.

This Co-Star description of a Virgo is so Kim Petras: "Virgos are image-conscious because they know they have the power to sculpt their physical being into the self they want others to see." At age 14, Petras appeared in a documentary and a talk show as part of her advocacy for herself, aiming to get approval for gender-affirming surgery before the minimum age of 18 in Germany. At 16, she went public with the news that she was having gender-affirming surgery, making headlines around the world as one of the youngest people to do so. A few months after the procedure, the pop star and trans icon was asked if she feels "like a woman now," to which she responded: "The truth is I have always felt like a woman – I just ended up in the wrong body." And she's been slaying ever since!

Sara Ramírez

Bisexual, nonbinary actor Sara Ramírez is known for their role as Dr. Callie Torres on "Grey's Anatomy" (a role they got after winning a Tony award for acting, when ABC's producers offered them any role they wanted, on any of the network's shows) and of course "queer, non-binary, Mexican Irish diva" Che Díaz from "And Just Like That..."

In between leaving "Grey's" and joining the "Sex and the City" spinoff, Ramírez could regularly be seen at political protests and using their influence to speak out against injustice, and they continue to do so. Virgos care deeply about the state of the world, which alternates between being a strength and a weakness. Combining the political climate with a Virgo's need to problem solve would be stressful for anyone, which is why taking time out of the spotlight and reflecting with their loved ones is important. The actor's Virgo-aligned expectations include their views on the entertainment industry. They've been public about holding their peers and industry leaders to a standard, even comparing them to their divisive character, Che, in an Instagram post: "It's wild how performative so many in Hollywood are. Even more performative than the last character I played."

G Flip

G Flip is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Melbourne. Their skillset on its own is very Virgo, as people with this sign are usually excited to take classes and work diligently to learn new skills. Their passion for working (in studio, on tour, and traveling) with a band is also a great fit for their Virgo spirit: Virgos are team-oriented and enjoy working with others. G Flip's latest album "Drummer" is a showcase, not only of their immense talent, but of the very Virgo talent of using their emotional life and experiences to convey a powerful message. From the boldly queer romance in ballad "Be Your Man" (the song G Flip wrote when they started dating their wife, "Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause), to the heightened frustration of "The Worst Person Alive," and the evocative storytelling in the album as a whole... That's queer Virgo excellence.
