EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The fifth annual Art Project Los Angeles takes place at Bonhams in Hollywood June 6, with proceeds from the event benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles and APLA Health & Wellness. The live and silent auctions at this year's Art Project include works from many renowned artists, including Featured Artist Plastic Jesus, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Donald Sultan, Elizabeth Tobias, Bambi, David Hockney, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Jillian Kogan, and many others.

Some of the highlights from the live auction include Plastic Jesus' one-off canvas edition of his famous street-art stencil "Stop Making Stupid People Famous" (made specifically for Art Project 2015), Andy Warhol's "In the Bottom of My Garden" lithograph, and Keith Haring's "Pop Shop Quad III" screenprint (all pictured above). These are just three examples of the fabulous pieces from more than 150 different artists that will be up for auction.

Art Project Los Angeles begins with a silent auction and cocktail party inside Bonhams, followed by a live auction. Tickets are $50-all of which is fully transferrable to any bid during the live or silent auctions. Tickets can be purchased at apla.org/artproject.

Guests can also attend public viewings on Friday, June 5, from 12-5 p.m. or Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., for which no ticket is required. (The ticketed portion of the event starts at 6 p.m. Saturday.)

Proceeds from Art Project Los Angeles support a variety of vital services that APLA and APLA Health & Wellness provide to over 11,000 Angelenos every year, including: primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care services; HIV testing and STD screening; the Vance North Necessities of Life Program food pantries; in-home health services; housing assistance; and HIV prevention efforts; among many others.

Art Project Los Angeles is supported by a host of generous sponsors: premier sponsors include Bonhams and Hamilton-Selway Fine Art; grand sponsors include Comerica Bank, Ed Ruscha, and HBO; supporting sponsors include Angel City Brewery and Leslie Barclay of Southern Wine and Spirits; and media sponsors include Here Media and Metrosource.
