American Apparel Makes Model of 'Little Monster' Brendan Jordan

Brendan Jordan, the "diva boy" who gained viral video star status after photobombing a local newscast with the choreography from Lady Gaga's "Applause" video, has been tapped by American Apparel as their next top model.

Gay Star News reprts Jordan, 15, is the newest face of the hipster clothing manufacturer, proudly modeling their skin-tight, hot-pink hot pants with aplomb.

"His biggest inspirations are his great-grandmother Lucy and Lady Gaga," the American Apparel ad reads. "In the future Brendan hopes to have his own TV show and design a clothing line."

The company says Jordan is half-Peruvian, with a father born and raised in Peru, and has learned to speak Spanish from his extended family. He loves shopping and collecting Disney memorabilia, and of course, Mother Monster Lady Gaga.

"We were inspired by Brendan after seeing his fearless act of spontaneity and applaud his efforts with the LGBTQ community," wrote the company on the ad that features Jordan in four eye-catching ensembles. "His favorite styles of ours include the Clear PVC Circle Skirt and anything high-waisted."

But Jordan has said of his early October scene stealing that he "just saw a camera, and did my thing. I was imagining myself as if I were Lady Gaga, and that no one could destroy me."

His courage has apparently paid off, as the fearless teen recently Instagramed a photo of himself weighed down by American Apparel swag.

In early November, Jordan was a guest on "The Queen Latifah Show" and on Sunday, Dec. 7, was featured on Logo's NewNowNext Awards 2014.
