Last Monday was the much anticipated return of Miss Florida F.I., the Social Event of the Season, at the beautiful Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach. The theater sold out with the who's who of the Miami scene in addition to dignitaries from all over Florida and beyond. All I kept hearing was how fabulous the opening production was, and the fact that Miss Florida has returned with a bang. Preliminaries starting soon, so stay tuned!
On Thursday, Creative Male celebrated their 4th anniversary with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and sexy men in the latest underwear and swimwear. Congrats to Bruce and Ben! Also that night Italo Italian Street Food presented a second benefit for the Smart Ride, where 50% of all food, beer & wine purchased by Smart Ride supporters was donated back to support The Smart Ride.
Saturday was chock full with events: Rumors hosted a leather party in honor of Int'l Mr. Leather - Ramien and Int'l Mr. Boot Black - Scout from 9 pm to 1 am, and Daisy hosted a leather contest. Pridelines Youth Services, South Florida's oldest LGBTQ service agency, hosted their annual gala (Masquerade) to support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Marytrini and Las Divas Del Jacuzzi celebrated 15 years of performing at the Teatro Manuel Artime, and as is the case every year the theater was packed. The biggest party of the night was Score's 16th anniversary extravaganza that started at 8 pm and went to 5 am with a packed house. Congrats to Billy and Luis for another fabulous year and a fantastic party!
On Sunday, Panache Style, presented the first annual Gay Nuptials, a gay-friendly wedding expo to showcase top-notch caterers, venues, florists and more at Hagen Park Community Center featurinh an impressive roster of nearly 50 gay-friendly vendors. Congrats to Bobby K! Swinging Richards presented a Dancer Underwear Auction and Silent Auction to benefit the Pride Center at Equality Park.

Johnny's will be celebrating the birthday of owner, Sean tonight and tomorrow. Since Sean has a big personality they decided to celebrate for 2 days. They will feature free admission and lots of other surprises.
The Boardwalk will be celebrating the birthday of their Friday night hostess, Kitty Meow from 9 pm to close. The night will also star DJ Scott Mann and special guest appearances.

Columbia Records has announced the upcoming release of Barbra Streisand's "Partners" album, to debut on September 16th, featuring 12 inimitable new Streisand duets with the world's greatest male vocalists.
Ms. Streisand took to Instagram on August 11th to announce to the world the official September 16th release date for "Partners." Fans can pre-order "Partners" now on itunes and those who do will receive a new downloadable song, "New York State Of Mind," with Billy Joel. The Lionel Richie duet of the classic "The Way We Were" will be also be made available to pre-ordering fans on August 26. The third Instant Grat track, the Michael Bubl� duet "It Had To Be You," will be downloadable via pre-order on September 2.
