New Report: LGBT Individuals and the Internet

The LGBT Technology Partnership & Institute (LGBT Tech), the premier organization representing the interests of LGBT communities with regards to communications and technology issues, will release a new report titled, "A Vision for Inclusion: An LGBT Broadband Future" on Thursday, June 26th at an event being held on Capitol Hill in the Rayburn Building from 8:30am - 10:00am in room B-339.
The event and research release builds on the National Broadband Plan, released in 2010 by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to address the issue of universal availability and access to broadband Internet. "A Vision for Inclusion" makes policy recommendations that could ensure the safe and universal access to broadband technologies for LGBT people.
A light breakfast will be served.
