Last Wednesday was the Annual Miss and Mr. Noche Latina Pageant which was held at Coliseum Miami to a packed House. Although the contestants were all fab, the highlight of the evening was how the formers came together for performances that blew the crowd away. It felt like a national competition to me. Congratulations go out to the new Miss and Mr. Noche Latina Taina Norell and Rolly Vllaverde.
On Thursday, was the much anticipated Grand Opening of Miami's newest strip club, The Floppy Rooster and let's just say there were a lot of roosters flopping around...LOL!
On Friday Night Latino Salud celebrated their 5th whsf_saludanniversary with a party at the Alibi in the Manchester Room. I always love a room filled with Latinos...hehe!
Congrats to Stephen Fallon (Executive Director) and his entire staff on 5 incredible years! Later on that night, PJ's Cocktails opened the doors at its new location on Wilton Drive. P.J's is an R&B lounge with a fun vibe, so check it out when you have a chance (grand opening party is this Fri, Jan 31).
On Saturday night, Hunters featured Latrice Royale, The Manor had circuit DJ Brett Henrichsen, Discotekka Shined Bright, Score featured a Winter Party kickoff event with DJ Eddie Martinez and the Ramrod had a Drummer Fraternity Party.
On Sunday, Scandals presented their monthly Lady Fany Gospel Jubilee and for those who went or passed by, you could see how busy it was by looking at the packed K Mart parking lot. Also on Sunday, The Village Pub presented their monthly Menergy T Dance with iconic DJ and my buddy Robbie Leslie along with resident Dj Galaxy. Once again it was a weekend chock filled with events here in South Florida!

The Village Pub presents Shardee Ross's monthly Jump Start Thursdays at 9:30pm, with this month's theme being "Back Into The Groove," and starring alongside Shardee, Tayanna Love, Diva Kingsley and introducing Ashley Blake.
The South Florida Symphony Orchestra presents its second Masterworks Concert of the season, "Doublespeak & Hidden tonight at 7:30 pm, Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Friday Jan. 31 at 8 pm, the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday Feb. 1 at 8 pm, and Delray Beach Center for the Arts on Monday Feb. 3 at 7:30 pm. Under the direction of Maestra Sebrina Mar�a Alfonso, the orchestra will perform Liszt's Symphonic Poem No. 10, "Hamlet," Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10 in E minor. Pianist Christopher Taylor is the featured soloist. Tickets range from $25 to $75 depending on the venue and can be purchased on line at SouthFloridaSymphony.org. The Stonewall National Museum & Archives (1300 East Sunrise Boulevard) presents Looking for Langston - film screening at 7pm. Combining authentic archival newsreel footage of Harlem in the 1920s with scripted scenes to produce a non-linear impressionistic story line celebrating black gay identity and desire during the artistic and cultural period known as the Harlem Renaissance in New York. Framed by voices reading the poetry and essays of Langston Hughes and other writers of the period, Looking for Langston celebrates the freedom experienced by black gay men in the Harlem Renaissance. This screening coincides with the exhibit Snap Judgment on display at SNMA until February 27. Looking For Langston, directed by Isaac Julien, 1989, 42 min. Bubble Gum Fridays at The Manor will be celebrating their 3rd anniversary with special guest, American Idol star Lazaro Arbos (our cover model) performing live. In addition their entire cast (Estephania, TP, Serena and Sasha) will be performing. The night will also star house DJs JPS and Miik. The first 100 guests in by 10pm get a meet and greet and photo op with Lazaro. Admission is free before midnight for 21 and up and $7 thereafter and $12 all night if you are 18-20.
Starting today, Beefcakes Grill is open for lunch starting at 11am Friday's, Saturdays and Sunday's (3pm weekdays).

Rentboy.com presents the annual Mr. Florida Escort of the Year contest at the Boardwalk at 11pm. The contestants will be Ryan Rose (look for his interview in todays mag), Steven Ponce, Angel Rock, Nick CCross, Sean Duran, Logan Vaughn, and Troy Web along with hostess Misty Eyez.
The Ramrod presents Pig Dance #66 (first Saturday of the month) with special guest DJ/producer Barry Huffine (Bear Bash, Beachbear, Tidal Wave, Atlanta Eagle, TBRU).
Epic Saturdays at The Manor presents "Bon Voyage" a theme party in honor of the thousands of guests going on the Atlantis Cruise. The night will star DJ/Producer Manny Lehman in the Ballroom with major productions and hot muscle dancers, and in the Ivy Lounge and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents special guest DJ George Ferrero along with hostess Viva Mirage and special guests Rossette Enchanted and Jose Vega. 11pm to 4 am with No Cover!
Sunday, February 2 (Super Bowl Sunday)
Sidelines Sports Bar will be hosting their biggest event of the year as they invite the entire community to watch the Super Bowl with a starting time of 6:25pm. For those of you have been to Sidelines for previous Super Bowls you know you need to get there early as it will be packed. This year they are featuring a $10 all you can eat deluxe buffet.
