A week ago Wednesday the Alibi presented "A Holiday Hoopla" which was a benefit for Kids in Distress and featured a silent auction for beautiful gifts and wreaths as well as many performances. In the end over $3000 was raised.
Thursday night began the weekend long Grand Opening of the newest Hotspot on Wilton Drive called The Drive. Early Friday night Pandora events featured comedy legend Suzanne Westenhoefer live in concert at the CSL in Wilton Manors. The night featured a special attendee in tennis Legend Martina Navratilova.
On Friday night Goes Bear Miami moved to its new home at Therapy nightclub and lots of bears and their admirers came out to support. Also on Friday night Sidelines had a Brittney Spears CD release party giving away a trip to Las Vegas for 3 days and tickets to Brittney's show, and the Manor featured a live performance by Cazwell.
Saturday started with Impulse featuring a holiday party at the Pier 66 pool, which was packed. Congrats to the entire group and AHF for putting on such a successful event. Later that night Rumors featured the South Florida Gay Flag Football league in drag (turnabout) as a benefit for NVEEE.
On Sunday, Lips celebrated the 40th birthday of their Gospel Brunch Hostess, Nicolette. This event was also a benefit for Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center. A big Happy Birthday to Nicolette from myself and the entire Hotspots family!

The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce invites you to one of their biggest networker of the year. Join a fun group of guys for a monthly freestyle male Life Drawing Event, the second Thursday each month. The next one is tonight from 6 pm - 9 pm. The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County compliments its aquatic-themed art exhibition, "The Deep and the Shallow: Photographers Exploring a Watery World" with a "Splash of Art" from 6 - 9 p.m. at its Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. headquarters at 601 Lake Avenue in Lake Worth. The silent auction features 33 masterful works of art in various media by 29 Palm Beach County-based artists. Bubble Gum Fridays at The Manor in association with WildchildWorld.com present "Blood on the Dance Floor," a Friday the 13th theme party. The night stars DJs JPS and Miik and features no cover before midnight for 21 and up and $7 thereafter. 18-20 is $12 all night.
Eros presents "Woof Miami" with music by DJ Roke Cabrera. The night will also feature a food drive for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

The Pet Project presents Santa and Santa's Paws, a Pet Holiday Festival sponsored and hosted by 4X Nutrition Center (1624 North Federal Highway). Discotekka presents the CD release party for cast member Serena ChaCha's new single on Saturday, Dec 14th. The night will star house divas Serena, Poizon, Sasha, Gina, Maite and Lola Lotus as well as house DJs Tony and Carlos G.
Epic Saturdays at The Manor presents in the ballroom, Replay, this year's best music in review with DJ Sushiman and a performance by Erika Norell and cast. In the Ivy Lounge and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays will be celebrating the birthday of its Maestro, DJ Larry Larr along with hostess Viva Mirage, hot Latin go-go papis and special guest Natasha Danielle Hearts.
