Lance Bass Gets Engaged

Lance Bass is having a fantastic week!
Shortly after reuniting with the other members of 'N Sync at MTV's Video Music Awards, Bass told UsWeekly that he is now engaged to his boyfriend Michael Turchin.
Bass, 34, popped the question to Turchin, an aspiring actor and model, in New Orleans and proposed with a black diamond band. As UsWeekly reports, the singer texted Turchin's parents to ask for their permission.
"They're such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them," another source told UsWeekly. "Their friends and family are thrilled."
Turchin hinted at the engagement on Aug. 31 via Twitter.
"Happiest guy in the world," he wrote.
The couple has been dating since December 2011.
Bass reunited with 'N Sync members during Justin Timberlake's epic performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs, which was the iconic boy band's first performance since 2003.
"For the first time ever I got to perform w *NSYNC as an out entertainer and was thinking of this man," Bass tweeted on Aug. 28.
In early 2006, Bass dated "Amazing Race" winner Reichen Lehmkuhlin and dated Brazilian model Pedro Andrade in 2007. Later that year he dated New York-based hairdresser Ben Thigpen until March 2008.
