The Rainbow Days celebrations return for a fourth year at Six Flags Over Georgia just outside Atlanta. Tens of thousands of gay and lesbian vacationers are expected to converge on the theme park for this year's festivities, which will be held all day on Saturday, August 10. Rainbow Days is organized by Atlanta Premier Events Group, LLC, with The Gayborhood App as presenting sponsor.

The park will be open at 10 a.m. for all crowds, including the Rainbow Days attendees. For out-of-state attendees the best ticket to purchase is the Gold Package, which allows admission into the park, all rides, free parking, and entry into the special pavilion area where LGBT-centric entertainment will perform and a buffet dinner will be served. The Gold Package costs $50 (compared to the normal cost of $100+ for admission, parking, etc.) and can be purchased online at rainbowdaysatsixflags.com.

The LGBT-centric entertainment includes performances by Twinn City, Dylan Michael, Alissah Brooks, J. Tyler, the Athens Show Girls, and special appearances by B. Rice and the cast of the web series Studville TV. Entertainment and dinner will start at 6 p.m. with the lineup emceed by Miko Evans. Only Gold Package ticket-holders can access this area.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for Rainbow Days at Six Flags Over Georgia goes to two charities: The Health Initiative, the largest non-profit in the Southeast devoted solely to the health and wellness of LGBT people; and Lost N Found, an Atlanta-based non-profit which helps take homeless LGBT youths off the street and transitions them into permanent housing and employment.

For more information about the event, including how to buy special Rainbow Days memorabilia and how to sign up for the mass wedding that will be held on the theme park grounds, go to www.rainbowdaysatsixflags.com.
