Beyonce's single "Countdown" may have been released last October but that didn't stop a 16-year-old teenager from recently recreating the video -- in a snuggie.

MTV News reports Ton Do-Nguyen created the impeccable shot-by-shot reenactment of Beyonce's R&B jam "Countdown" and didn't expect the clip to go viral. But it did, and more than 500,000 people have viewed the video on YouTube. More importantly, Beyonce herself has approved the video on her website.

"Brilliant. I think he did this video better than I did :). Love B," the websites reads. Underneath the text is a clip of the Do-Nguyen's video.

"I'm going on her website, and I just start screaming," the super fan said. "That was literally the best moment of my life - hands down," he told MTV News. "I was scared she would get mad. ... When she posted it on her wall and everything, it was so positive."

The video, which has been reported by a number of news outlets including Perez Hilton, is an impressive attempt at recreating Queen B's color-blocking beauty video for "Countdown." Do-Nguyen explained to MTV how he was able to make the music video.

"For each specific part, I would just look on YouTube and try and get it down to a T in front of my mirror and go off and film it," he explained. "It's so tiring, and do you know what it's like to be in a Snuggie in the middle of July?"

"I used my Snuggie as a blue screen and wore a blue shirt and then I just did my thing," he added.
