Saint Lucia - Saint Lucia announced the inaugural Health & Wellness Retreat, November 17th to 20th, 2011, bringing together leading experts in yoga, nutrition, and lifestyle coaching to offer a comprehensive well-being package.
Taking place in Soufriere, considered by many as the "Eden of the Caribbean," the retreat will span four days with tickets priced at US$1000. Participants that purchase tickets before October 15th will receive a US$200 discount. Several area luxury accommodations are also offering special packages.
"Soufriere is quickly emerging as a preferred health and wellness destination, with its picturesque landscape, spiritual Piton Mountains, the therapeutic benefits of the mineral springs and mud baths, and the many world-class spas in the area" said Lyton Lamontagne of The Soufriere Foundation.
The retreat will be structured around a series of seminars conducted by leading experts in the wellness industry including Iyengar Yoga's John Schumacher, Feng Shui consultant William Spear, and Dr. Stephen Brewer, Medical Director at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.

For the ultimate relaxation, guests can indulge in spa treatments starting with the therapeutic benefits of Soufriere's mineral and mud baths. Lunch will be an interactive event with local chef demonstrations while enjoying healthy, wholesome and locally sourced cuisine.
