The former star of "The Cosby Show" and "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," Raven-Symoné is stepping in front of the camera again in a new HGTV pilot tentatively titled "What Not To Design," reports Deadline.

Riffing on the popular "What Not To Wear," Raven-Symoné, along with co-hosts Nina Ferrer (HGTV's "Design Star") and craftsman James Worsham, will help designed-challenged homeowners reimagine their poorly designed spaces into fabulous environments to live and entertain.

"Style mistakes are not confined to clothing," said Raven-Symoné told Deadline. "Bad design prevents people from living well and truly enjoying their homes. We're going to give families a clean slate and show them how to style their new space and apply the 'to-do' and 'not-to-do' list to the rest of the house."

Growing up in front of the camera, Raven-Symoné navigated Hollywood's glaring spotlight and her personal life, eventually coming out in 2015. In a 2019 interview with Variety, she said, "While it was a selfish thing for me to keep my secret to myself for as long as I did, I am very happy that I'm out if only to help someone else feel comfortable. It is about that one person who you'll never see or meet who watches the show and feels that confidence to just say, 'Hey, guess what? I'm gay. And if you can't accept me, it's okay because I see Raven pushing through.' That feels good. It's a hard journey, though. It's difficult."

Raven-Symoné joins a growing list of LGBTQ representation on HGTV, including David Bromstad, who won season one of "HGTV Design Star" and now hosts "My Lottery Dream Home" where he helps newly-minted millionaires spend their winnings on luxurious properties. Nate Berkus has also been a longtime fixture on Discovery's cable network, including "Nate & Jeremiah by Design" on TLC with hubby Jeremiah Brent and their new HGTV show, "Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House."
