Next Magazine goes beneath the mascara and get to know the sexy Cagelles of Broadway's revival of La Cage Aux Follies a little better.

Nick Adams, 26

Cagelle name: Angelique?

Originally from: Erie, Penn.?

Fun fact: My middle name was originally Rad.??

Pick one: feathers, sequins or lace?

Lace. It’s see-through.??

What is your favorite part about dressing in drag?

Takin’ it off.??

Who is your drag inspiration?

Cruella De Vil, Gina Gershon (circa Cristal Conners) and Britney Spears. ??

Why should people come check you out?

People will see this production and understand why I wanted to be a part of this show.

Nicholas Cunningham, 25

Cagelle name: Hanna?

Originally from: Australia

?Fun fact: I’ve performed on five continents!

First time in drag?

This is the first time I’m getting paid for drag!??

Pick one: feathers, sequins or lace?

Feathers, ’cause they are so exotic!??

What is the most surprising thing about being in drag?

Almost being able to do things you wouldn’t as a guy.??

Who is your drag inspiration?

Marilyn Monroe.

Sean A. Carmon, 22

Cagelle name: Phaedra?

Originally from: Beaumont, Texas?

Fun fact: [I] always wanted braces when I was younger.??

Pick one: feathers, sequins or lace?

I was a competition dancer in high school and everything was about the glitter and sequins. I’ll stick with that. ??

What is your favorite part about dressing in drag??

The transformation. Sometimes I take a "before" and "after" shot just to look at the differences.??

Who is your drag inspiration??

Vida Boheme and Noxeema Jackson (the late Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes, respectively, in To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar).??

Why should people come check you out?

Nick Adams or "Angelique" has taken to naming each day of the show. If you want to be a part of Tits Up Tuesday or Watch Out Wednesday you should definitely check us out!?

Sean Patrick Doyle, 26

Cagelle name: Chantal?

Originally from: Miami, Fla.?

Fun fact: I have been to 29 countries. My destination wish list is ever growing!??

First time in drag?

I broke "tradition" as the first male to play the role of Fruma-Sarah, dead wife of Lazar Wolf, in the national tour of Fiddler on the Roof, opposite Topol and Harvey Fierstein.

?Pick one: feathers, sequins or lace??

Feathers are as fabulous in nature as they are on our plumed tutus in the show-and their sheen and beauty needs no engineering!??

What is your favorite part about dressing in drag?

?I think it’s very liberating to inhabit a character with a heavily made-up mask! Suddenly your inhibitions are out the door, and you feel free to act on every instinct!??

What’s the best part about this production of La Cage? ?

This production truthfully translates the text of this wonderful play to the stage! You really feel that you’re in a fabulous [albeit seedy] little club.

Logan Keslar, 23

Cagelle name: Bitelle?

Originally from: Liberty, Texas

?Pick one: feathers, sequins or lace?

I’d go with sequins. Sparkles!??

What is your favorite part about dressing in drag?

My favorite part is the clothes. Girls have so many options!??

What’s it like dancing in heels?

It’s like riding a bicycle. I love how heels elongate your body and make you instantly feel sexy.??

Who is your drag inspiration?

Ann-Margret, Vera-Ellen, Gaga, Britney and Jessica Rabbit.??

Why should people come check you out??

Our show is engaging and has a huge heart. Douglas Hodge and Kelsey Grammer are the perfect match and I don’t think you could find anyone who has more fun than the six gorgeous Cagelles!

Terry Lavell

Cagelle name: Mercedes

?Originally from: New Orleans??

What is your favorite part about dressing in drag?

Putting on makeup and lashes.

?What’s it like dancing in heels? ?

I actually love it at the end of the day.??

Who is your drag inspiration? ?

Tasha Long, my gay mother, and she is so beautiful.??

Why should people come check you out? ?

This is really a great production of the show.??La Cage aux Folles gets all dolled up at the Longacre Theater (220 W 48th St) through September 5.
