'American Horror Story: Apocalypse' Just Added These Two Iconic Stars

Thursday Aug 23, 2018

The highly anticipated "American Horror Story: Apocalypse" - the crossover season between "Murder House" (Season 1) and "Coven" (Season 3) - just upped the ante.

The show already stars a murderer's row: alongside "AHS" mainstays Sarah Paulson and Even Peters, returnees include Kathy Bates, Billy Lourde, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and more. Jessica Lange, the show's star who departed after "Freak Show" (Season 5), and Stevie Nicks will also appear on "Apocalypse." Newcomers include Joan Collins and Colin Fern, who will play Michael Langdon, the Anti-Christ.

But Variety is now reporting the Harmon family may be reunited: "Murder House" stars Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are coming back for the new season, which debuts on FX on Sept. 12.

Fern's Michael seems to be a key character as he is the son of Tate Langdon (Peters) and Vivian Harmon (Britton), who was born at the end of "Murder House."

This marks the first time Britton has returned to the "AHS" universe since "Murder House." McDermott, who played Ben Harmon in "Murder House," appeared in a few episodes of Season 2's "Asylum."
