The highlight of Fort Lauderdale's Pride week is the Stonewall Street Festival and Parade. Named after the famous NYC riots that initiated the gay rights movement, this parade is still a celebration of our human rights in today's society, HIV/AIDS awareness and diversity. This famous Pride event starts with a street festival early in the afternoon, followed by the parade and club dancing on the closed down Wilton Manors' drive. This year's event brought over 25 thousand people who celebrated gay pride in Ft. Lauderdale. EDGE joined this big party, here are the pics!
